Gaza war death toll rises above 74,000, Palestinian health ministry says

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says the number of people killed in the enclave since the start of the war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,475, while the number of wounded has reached 175,517.
In a fresh statement, the ministry said the bodies of seven people were transferred to hospitals in Gaza over the past 24 hours. Of those, six were newly killed and one was recovered from under the rubble. In addition, 25 Palestinians were wounded during this period.
It also said that since the ceasefire was announced on October 11, 2025, 1,517 Palestinians have been killed and another 5,400 injured. The bodies of 839 martyrs have also been recovered from under the rubble and from various areas across the Gaza Strip.
These figures reflect the scale of destruction and the heavy human toll caused by the military operations of the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip, which have had a profound impact on civilians and Palestinian society.
