Work Begins on 11 Side Streets in Kabul’s District 7

Kabul Municipality says construction has begun on 11 alleys and side roads in the Rishkhur families area, in District 7 of Kabul city.
According to the municipality, the project is being implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Project Services and includes roads and alleys with a total length of 562 metres and a width of 6 metres, with sidewalks also planned.
The Kabul Municipality said the project will be completed within the next three months and then handed over for use.
District 7 of Kabul is considered one of the city’s crowded areas, and the improvement of roads and side streets in such areas is one of the basic needs of urban residents; providing such services is regarded as a routine responsibility of municipal authorities.
