UAE Foils Advanced Cyberattacks Targeting Aviation, Energy, and Education Sectors
The UAE’s Cybersecurity Council announced that advanced and organized cyberattacks targeting the country’s aviation, energy, and education sectors have been detected and neutralized.
According to the WAM news agency, the council stated on Monday that through proactive and immediate measures, attempts to breach and hack information were contained at early stages.
The council reported that the attackers employed various methods, including unauthorized attempts to access digital systems and infrastructure, targeting operational accounts and data, and conducting targeted phishing campaigns.
The UAE Cybersecurity Council also emphasized that it remains at the highest level of readiness to monitor and counter cyber threats. In recent years, the UAE has made substantial investments in strengthening its digital infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities.
