New Primary School for Kochi Community Opens in Uruzgan Province

A new primary school building for the Kochi community in Chaharmaqar district, located in the center of Uruzgan province, has been inaugurated with an investment of nearly 9 million Afghanis. The project was financially supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
According to provided information, the school comprises six classrooms and has been equipped with surrounding walls, sanitation facilities, and a drinking water system. These facilities aim to create a safer and higher-quality learning environment for students in the area.
Uruzgan is a central province in Afghanistan where access to standard educational facilities remains limited in some areas. The construction of this new building for the Kochi residents of Chaharmaqar represents a significant step toward improving access to primary education for children in the region.
