Iraq Deploys 400 Buses and 6 Trains for Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s Funeral

Iraq’s Ministry of Transport announced that 400 buses and 6 trains have been allocated to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims and participants attending the funeral ceremony of Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
According to the official Iraqi news agency (WAFA), the General Passenger and Delegation Transport Company has arranged 400 buses to transport citizens attending the ceremony. This measure aims to ease the movement of participants and better organize the flow of traffic.
Additionally, the Iraqi General Railways Company has dedicated three trains from Baghdad to Karbala and three trains from Basra to Karbala. The ministry stated that if demand increases, the number of trains will be increased accordingly. These trains will operate on a round-trip basis.
The Ministry of Transport has urged citizens to cooperate with responsible authorities in transport hubs to prevent overcrowding and ensure smooth transit. It also emphasized that passenger terminals in Baghdad and other provinces will continue their normal operations, and necessary measures have been taken to maintain order during and after the ceremony.
