Mobile Eye Surgery Team Dispatched to Baghlan for Free Services

The Ministry of Public Health has announced the deployment of a mobile eye care team to provide free services in Baghlan province. According to the announcement, the program will be held from July 5 to July 16, during which patients in need can benefit from free surgery, examinations, glasses, and medication.

The ministry’s newsletter states that during this health campaign, 400 cataract surgeries will be performed. Additionally, 850 reading glasses will be distributed to patients, and medicines necessary to serve approximately 4,500 to 5,500 visitors will be provided.

The Ministry of Public Health has urged residents suffering from eye diseases in Baghlan to visit the provincial public health directorate during the specified period. The ministry emphasized that all these services provided under this program will be completely free of charge.
