October 6 Marks World Cerebral Palsy Day to Raise Awareness and Support Rights

Today, October 6, is World Cerebral Palsy Day, a day observed in several countries to raise public awareness and strengthen support for the rights of people living with cerebral palsy.

According to published information, the World Cerebral Palsy Day campaign began in 2012 and brings together people with cerebral palsy, their families, supporters and related organisations in more than 100 countries.

The day highlights the creation of a society in which children and adults with cerebral palsy can enjoy equal rights, proper access and the same opportunities as others.
