More than 105,000 people with disabilities in Afghanistan received services and assistance from seven physical rehabilitation centres between January and June 2026, the International Committee of the Red Cross said.
The organisation said on Sunday, 12 Mizan, that the centres provide rehabilitation services to people with disabilities.
According to the Red Cross, the services include physiotherapy and the provision of assistive devices, and are offered to people who became disabled as a result of war, accidents or illness.
The International Committee of the Red Cross has also supported physical rehabilitation centres in Afghanistan in recent years.
