Afghan Trade Delegation Signs $30 Million Machinery Contracts with China

A delegation from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment signed six contracts worth over 30 million US dollars with Chinese companies for the purchase of industrial machinery during their visit to the China International Industrial and Manufacturing Machinery Exhibition.
According to a press release from the chamber, published by Bakhtar Agency, these agreements aim to supply essential equipment for Afghanistan’s industries and strengthen the country’s production capacities.
During the exhibition, the delegation met with several manufacturers and suppliers of industrial machinery to discuss expanding trade cooperation, technology transfer, and opportunities for joint investment.
The delegation also toured the latest technologies, industrial equipment, and production capabilities of participating companies, exploring potential collaboration opportunities. China’s international industrial exhibitions are among the largest trade events in the region, providing a platform to showcase innovative technologies and foster economic relations between countries.
Officials from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment described the signing of these contracts as a step toward modernizing domestic industries, increasing production capacity, and enhancing economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and China.
