Ariana Takes Back Ticket Sales and Operating Systems from Pakistani Firm

Ariana Airlines has announced that it has ended an agreement of nearly 15 years with the Pakistani company Zapways, under which the firm had managed ticket sales, operating systems and Ariana’s website.
Ariana’s press office said Zapways had run the ticketing systems and parts of the company’s operations over the years in return for high fees. According to Ariana, technical information and data related to these systems were also in the hands of the Pakistani company.
The airline added that it has now launched a new system in cooperation with a Turkish company. Ariana said the Turkish company’s services are “modern and standard” and are used by more than 80 international airlines in Europe, Asia and Africa.
