Improved Soybean Seeds Distributed to Farmers in Sholgara District, Balkh

The Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Department of Balkh Province has announced the distribution of improved soybean seeds along with chemical fertilizers to a number of eligible farmers in Sholgara district.

Officials from the department stated that the aim of this initiative is to strengthen agricultural yields and support farmers at the beginning of the planting season. According to them, farmers who met the necessary criteria were included in this support program.

Sholgara district is considered one of the important agricultural areas in Balkh, where a large portion of the population is engaged in farming and livestock rearing. Agricultural experts consistently emphasize that access to improved seeds and quality fertilizers can play a significant role in increasing production and improving the livelihoods of farmers.
