Shooting Near White House Leaves One Person Shot; Main Building Temporarily Closed

International news sources have reported that following a shooting near the White House, the official residence and workplace of U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, one person was shot. As a result of this incident, the main building of the complex was temporarily closed.
The U.S. Secret Service stated in a message posted on the social media platform X that the shooting took place near the intersection of 15th Street and Independence Avenue, close to the White House. According to the statement, security forces fired shots at the scene.
Newsmax network also confirmed that the incident occurred on the route leading to the White House. Meanwhile, journalists and staff present in the complex were directed by the Secret Service to a press briefing room.
Reports indicate that the person who was shot was struck by U.S. law enforcement officers, but their medical condition has not yet been disclosed.
