Weather Department Warns of Rain and Strong Winds in Seven Afghan Provinces

The Meteorological Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that rain is expected today (Tuesday) in seven provinces across the country. According to the forecast, Badghis, Faryab, Sar-e Pul, Samangan, Baghlan, Takhar, and Badakhshan will experience rainfall.

The department estimated precipitation amounts between 10 to 20 millimeters in various parts of these provinces. No further details have been provided regarding potential flooding or possible damages.

Additionally, the Meteorological Department warned of strong winds accompanied by dust storms in the central, western, and southern provinces. These winds are expected to reach speeds between 50 to 80 kilometers per hour.

This warning comes as residents in many areas, especially in open and agricultural regions, remain vulnerable to sudden weather changes and increasingly require timely and accurate information.
