Afghanistan Issues 9,425 Urgent Passports for Hajj Pilgrims

The Passport Department has announced that to facilitate the travel of Hajj pilgrims, 9,425 passports have been urgently processed, printed, and distributed. This action took place ahead of the dispatch of pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah and was pursued with an intensive process.

According to the department’s statement, to avoid any delays in services, special services were exclusively provided to pilgrims even on the first day of Eid al-Fitr. Officials stated that all administrative procedures related to these passports were carried out in an organized and coordinated manner.

Every year, thousands of residents of the country travel to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, and receiving a timely passport is considered a crucial step in this process. The Passport Department emphasized that efforts to provide further conveniences for pilgrims are ongoing.
