Taliban ministry criticises slow progress on Spin Boldak road project

During a visit by Mullah Mohammad Isa, acting minister of public works in the Taliban administration, to Kandahar province, the construction progress on the eight-kilometre road in Spin Boldak district was inspected and reviewed. The ministry criticised the slow pace of construction on the project and instructed the responsible teams and the contracting company to speed up the work, maintain quality, and complete the project within the specified timeframe.
The Taliban administration’s Ministry of Public Works has previously repeatedly stressed the need to observe quality standards and project schedules for development projects across the country, and has warned about repeated delays in their implementation.
