Moscow Mayor Says 493 Ukrainian Drones Targeted Moscow Region

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that from Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning, 493 drones flew toward the Moscow region, a claim that has not yet been confirmed by independent sources.

According to him, 180 of the drones were destroyed as they approached the capital, while most of the others were intercepted and neutralized at a greater distance from Moscow.

Sobyanin said the incident lasted from 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14. He added that emergency crews are working at the sites where drone debris fell.
