Freedom Front Claims Attack on Taliban Police Command in Pul-e Alam

The Afghanistan Freedom Front says its fighters attacked the Taliban administration’s police command in the city of Pul-e Alam, the capital of Logar province, on Tuesday evening, 21 Mizan, in an incident it says left three Taliban members dead and two intelligence members of the group wounded.
According to a statement by the Freedom Front, the incident took place at around 7:10 p.m. in the first security district of Pul-e Alam, near the headquarters of the Taliban administration’s police command.
Taliban officials have not yet commented on the claim, and no independent details have been released about casualties in the incident.
The claim comes as, in recent weeks, several armed groups opposing the Taliban administration have reported attacks on the group’s forces and positions in different provinces. The National Resistance Front, Afghanistan United Front, Republic Front, the Green Unit affiliated with the Green Trend, and the Homeland Soldiers Front are among the other groups that have claimed responsibility for some attacks against the Taliban.
