Yemen’s Armed Forces Warn of Presence at Saudi Oil Facilities

Yemen’s armed forces have warned that the presence of workers and passengers at some airports and Saudi oil facilities could put their lives at risk, and have urged them to stay away from the designated areas.

According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Masirah, Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, said in a social media post that the warning includes “experts, engineers and employees of Saudi oil facilities” and is aimed at “preserving lives.”

He said the warning also applies to airline companies, aviation sector workers, as well as passengers and airport employees in areas previously identified by Yemen’s armed forces as targets.

The spokesman stressed that the warning was issued to prevent lives from being put in danger and covers both locations that have already been targeted and other areas that may come within the scope of military operations.
