Yemen’s Armed Forces Warn of Response After Saudi Air and Missile Escalation

The spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces says a response to intensified Saudi attacks on several provinces of the country is on the agenda.

Yahya Saree said Saudi Arabia carried out 157 air and missile strikes in a new round of attacks on parts of Yemen. According to him, the strikes were carried out using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets, as well as missile attacks from Najran and Jizan.

He said the provinces of Al-Jawf, Taiz, Saada and Marib were targeted in the strikes. Saree also added that the attacking warplanes had taken off from the air bases of Khamis Mushait and Taif.
