New York mayor and Trump to meet at Gracie Mansion

The mayor of New York and US President Donald Trump are set to meet and hold talks later today, Monday local time, at Gracie Mansion.

According to NBC, the meeting is scheduled for around 4 p.m. in the Upper East Side, and White House officials have also confirmed it will take place.

Details of the meeting have not yet been released, but a spokesperson for the New York mayor said the talks will focus on “issues affecting New York City and its residents.”

Under the announced schedule, Zohran Mamdani will hold a news conference after the meeting with the US president.

Mamdani and Trump have previously met in person twice. Their first meeting took place in November 2025 at the White House, after Mamdani’s election victory and before he officially took office, while the second meeting was held in February this year.

Gracie Mansion is the official residence of the mayor of New York and is located in Manhattan.
