Two Traffic Accidents in Faryab Leave Two Dead, Four Injured

Two traffic accidents in Faryab province have killed two people and injured four others. According to the spokesman for the Taliban-run police command in Faryab, the incidents took place in the districts of Andkhoy and Qaisar.
Mawlawi Abdullah Muradi said on Saturday, 21 Sunbula, that in the first incident, a Hilux vehicle collided with a motorcycle in the Maimana ring road area in Andkhoy district. He added that as a result of the collision, the motorcycle rider was killed and one other person was injured.
He said the second incident occurred in Qaisar district, where two motorcycles crashed into each other. Muradi said one person was killed and three others were injured in the incident.
The spokesman for the Taliban-run police command in Faryab said the injured were taken to hospital for treatment. Traffic accidents in many provinces of Afghanistan have repeatedly claimed the lives of citizens, and driver negligence and failure to observe traffic laws are considered the main causes.
