Over 3,200 Narcotic Pills and Several Kilograms of Hashish Seized in Khost’s Speri District

The Anti-Narcotics Unit of Khost Provincial Security Directorate uncovered more than 3,215 narcotic pills during a special operation. Additionally, one individual was arrested in connection with the case.

According to official sources, approximately three kilograms and 200 grams of hashish, along with another 1.4 kilograms, were also discovered in the Speri district of Khost province. These narcotics, including pills and hashish, were seized by security forces.

This discovery comes amid ongoing challenges related to drug trafficking and abuse, which remain serious security and social issues across various parts of Afghanistan, including Khost province. The Taliban administration has not issued any official response regarding this matter.
