Afghanistan’s Freedom Front says it attacked Taliban patrol in Baghlan

The Afghanistan Freedom Front has said its forces attacked Taliban patrol members in the Banui Andarab district of Baghlan province, in an operation it says left two Taliban fighters dead and another wounded.
The group wrote on X on Friday evening, 30 Asad, that the incident took place in the village of Mirwa in Banui Andarab district. The Freedom Front claimed none of its forces were hurt in the attack.
The report comes as the Freedom Front had previously said intense clashes with the Taliban administration were continuing in the Zebak district of Badakhshan province. According to the group, attacks on Taliban fighters have increased in recent weeks in several parts of the country.
Banui Andarab district is part of Baghlan province in northeastern Afghanistan, a region that has repeatedly seen clashes in recent years between forces opposed to the Taliban administration and fighters of the group.
