Six members of one family killed in two-car crash in Balochistan

Six members of one family, including two children, were killed in a collision between a gas-laden vehicle and a private car on Pakistan’s Balochistan coastal highway.
The Dawn newspaper reported that the incident took place in the Ormara area of Gwadar district. According to the report, the gas-laden vehicle struck the private car head-on at high speed.
According to the source, the private car caught fire after the collision and all its passengers died at the scene. It was also reported that the gas vehicle overturned after the accident.
Mohammad Aslam Banglazi, a highway police official, said the victims included two men, two women and two children. He said the family was travelling from Karachi to Turbat.
Police said the fire broke out so quickly after the incident that the passengers in the private car had no chance to get out. Ormara is located along the Balochistan coastal highway, a route that connects Gwadar to other parts of the province.
