Unexploded Munitions Blast in Kabul’s Dasht-e-Barchi Leaves 52 Wounded

An explosion caused by old, unexploded munitions in the Dasht-e-Barchi area, which falls under Kabul’s 18th security district, has left 52 people wounded.

A security source told Pajhwok that the incident occurred when unexploded munitions detonated at the site. According to the source, a man named Mohammad Ali, son of Baqir, had brought the munitions to the location.

So far, no further details have been released about the condition of the wounded or the exact circumstances of the explosion.

Dasht-e-Barchi is an area in western Kabul and falls within the 18th security district.
