WHO Health Campaign in Badakhshan Reaches Over 37,000 People

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that a health awareness campaign in Badakhshan province has reached over 37,000 individuals.

The organization stated on Sunday, August 9, on its X page that the program was implemented with financial support from the European Union in Afghanistan. The campaign aimed to raise awareness among residents about health risks and ways to address them.

According to the information provided, women constitute 60 percent of the participants in this campaign.

The WHO emphasized that access to accurate health information can enable more informed decision-making and better protection for individuals, families, and communities. The organization added that efforts to deliver health information to communities with the greatest need will continue.
