Paktya and Khost Elders Demand More Development Projects Amid Infrastructure Challenges

Several tribal elders and influential figures from Paktya and Khost provinces met with Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of the Taliban administration, to request the implementation of more development projects in their regions. Representatives noted that these provinces are facing significant service and infrastructure challenges.

During the meeting, they highlighted existing needs and issues across various sectors, emphasizing that the people of these two provinces require practical and immediate development programs.

In response, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor stated, “It is the right of the people that we serve them in every sector.” He also claimed that the ministry pays attention to all provinces, especially remote and underprivileged areas that had previously received less focus.

The acting minister assured that the ministry will strive to address the problems of Paktya and Khost within the limits of available resources and capacities. He noted, however, that the fulfillment of these commitments depends on the administration’s accessible capacity and resources.
