Bilawal Bhutto Warns Pakistan’s Political System Is Heading Towards Failure

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, sharply criticized the current power structure in the country, warning that Pakistan’s political system is on a path to failure.
He made these remarks at a gathering in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, stating that the continuation of the current situation poses serious challenges to the future of the political system.
According to Bhutto, structural problems within the system will persist as long as popular sovereignty is not officially recognized and citizens are not accepted as the primary source of power.
The Pakistan Peoples Party leader emphasized that the principle of popular sovereignty is the fundamental basis for the proper functioning of any political system, and ignoring this principle will perpetuate the ongoing crises in the country.
The Pakistan Peoples Party is one of the major political parties in the country, with a long-standing history in Pakistan’s power structure. In recent years, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been a prominent opposition figure against the central government.
