Russia Reports Attacking Three Ukrainian Cargo Ships in the Black Sea

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted three cargo ships carrying Ukrainian military supplies in the Black Sea last night. According to the ministry, these ships were linked to the Ukrainian armed forces and were attacked as part of Russia’s military operation. The Ministry of Defense also claimed that during the nighttime operation, 203 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed. The war between Russia and Ukraine, which began in February 2022, has turned large parts of the Black Sea into a battlefield of military clashes and reciprocal attacks; a region that holds special strategic and commercial significance for both countries.
