Russian Official Claims Ukrainian Children Sold for Up to $50,000 on European Darknet Markets

Anna Kuznetsova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Russian State Duma, has claimed that Ukrainian children are being bought and sold on darknet markets in Europe for prices ranging from $30,000 to $50,000 for purposes of slavery and forced labor.

In an interview with the TASS news agency, she said that based on available information, the set price for each Ukrainian child on these markets is between $30,000 and $50,000, with lower prices attributed to children with disabilities.

Kuznetsova also alleged that law enforcement agencies in certain European countries, including France, have documented dozens of cases involving the use of Ukrainian children for forced labor.

According to the Russian official, preliminary data indicates that more than 60,000 children without legal guardians have been transferred to various countries, including members of the European Union, and she claimed that the fate of a significant portion of these children remains unknown.
