Trump Criticizes Biden for Leaving US Military Equipment Behind in Afghanistan

Donald Trump, President of the United States, stated that the previous administration led by Joe Biden left a large amount of American military equipment during the withdrawal of forces from Afghanistan.
On Wednesday, Trump said at a rally that the United States now has the “strongest and most powerful army in the world” and claimed that the majority of this capability was built during his first term as president.
He criticized the way US forces were withdrawn from Afghanistan, saying that military equipment and aircraft should have been removed from the country. According to Trump, “They handed a large part of it over to the Taliban and Afghanistan.”
Trump described the event as “regrettable,” adding that what happened at that time was, in his words, “a hateful act.” The US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan took place in August 2021, coinciding with the collapse of the previous regime; a process that remains a subject of debate in US domestic politics.
