New York Times: Around 100 US Troops Wounded in Iranian Retaliatory Attacks

The New York Times has reported that in Iran’s retaliatory attacks on US military bases and installations in Jordan and several other regional countries, approximately 100 American troops were wounded, with the health condition of 12 of them described as critical.

The newspaper, citing a senior military official, stated that among the targeted sites was a radar system at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, which was destroyed on July 20, just six months after its completion.

According to the report, these attacks were carried out in response to what Tehran calls “Washington’s aggression.” The Islamic Republic of Iran had previously emphasized that US military bases and installations in the region would be targeted.
