India Sends Humanitarian Aid to Flood Victims in Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Following devastating floods in Nuristan province, the Indian government has dispatched a shipment of humanitarian aid to support those affected by this natural disaster in Afghanistan.
Randeep Jaiswal, spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs, stated that the shipment includes food supplies and tents, which have been handed over to Afghanistan’s National Disaster Management Authority for distribution among the affected families.
He added that India stands with the people of Afghanistan during these challenging times and supports efforts to address the urgent needs of the flood victims.
Nuristan province, located in eastern Afghanistan, is mountainous and has experienced deadly floods multiple times in recent years, causing significant financial and human losses to its residents.
