Putin Warns Any Attack on Russian Soil Will Be Met with Multiple Times the Response
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, has warned that any attempt to attack Russian territory will be met with a response that is “several times” greater. He emphasized that Russian forces are advancing in areas referred to as the “special military operation” zones, and Moscow will retaliate against its enemies.
On Monday, Putin stated that Russia stands firm against what he called the “Russophobic segment of the Western bloc,” while simultaneously continuing on its path of development and progress. He added that despite pressures, Moscow continues to move forward and will not retreat from its objectives.
The Russian president also spoke about his country’s plans to strengthen and develop its armed forces, asserting that victory will “undoubtedly” belong to Russia. According to him, any location used to launch attacks on Russian soil will face a strong and reciprocal response.
These remarks come amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, with tensions escalating between Moscow and Western countries following their military and political support for Kyiv.
