Eight Iranian Military Personnel Killed in Early Morning US Attack

Eight members of the Iranian Air and Naval Forces were killed early today in a United States military attack on parts of southern Iran. The fatalities occurred in the Bandar Abbas and Bushehr areas, according to official sources. The soldiers lost their lives during a defensive mission as a result of projectile impacts.

Details released indicate that Captain Ali Moeini from the Martyr Yasini Base in Bushehr, Second Lieutenant Ali Mahdizadeh, Third Lieutenant Hamed Dorayi, Petty Officer Amir Hossein Ghasemi, Petty Officer Alireza Zarei Sani, and Petty Officer Alireza Balideh from the Martyr Abdolkarimi Base in Bandar Abbas, as well as Chief Petty Officer Shahab Omidi Bezi and Sailor Mohammad Javad Ravanfar from the First Naval Region of the Army, were martyred in this incident.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army issued a statement emphasizing its commitment to defending the country’s territorial integrity against any hostile actions. The statement added that the armed forces remain continuously prepared and are pursuing the matter through appropriate channels.

Bandar Abbas and Bushehr are important cities in southern Iran along the Persian Gulf coast, hosting strategic naval and air force bases.
