Details Announced for Funeral of Martyr Leader in Iraq
According to official media reports, the pure body of the martyr leader of the revolution will arrive today in the city of Najaf, Iraq, and the funeral procession will begin tomorrow at 6 a.m. in the city. After the ceremony in Najaf, the pure body is scheduled to be transferred to Karbala later the same afternoon.
According to the announced plan, the funeral procession in Najaf will be held from the early hours of Wednesday, July 8, and then the procession caravan will move towards Karbala. In Karbala, the ceremonies will continue along the routes leading to the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and Abbas ibn Ali (peace be upon him).
Iraqi officials have announced that, to hold this ceremony splendidly, a public holiday has been declared in several cities and provinces across the country. It has also been reported that residents of various Iraqi cities have expressed their readiness to participate extensively in this event.
Service organizations, popular forces, and relevant government sectors in Iraq have also taken extensive measures to manage the ceremony, maintain order, and provide services to participants, ensuring the funeral proceeds in an organized manner.
