Suspected Drone Attack Kills Three Children in South Waziristan

Local sources report that a suspected drone attack on a house in the Tehsil Barmail area of South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has killed three children. According to these sources, at least four other family members, including a woman, were also injured. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 5, in the Nargisi neighborhood.
Local residents stated that the deceased children were between six and fifteen years old. The injured were transferred to Wana district hospital for treatment. Their current medical condition has not yet been reported clearly.
Pakistani officials have not yet made an official comment regarding this attack, and no individual or group has claimed responsibility.
This event comes amid previous reports of similar attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On June 30, Pakistani media reported an explosion in Bajaur district that killed at least three members of a family and injured ten others. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police suspected that a “suspected quadcopter drone” dropped explosives on a house in the Momand Tehsil area of Bajaur.
Local residents have called for transparent investigations into these attacks. They say that in recent months, similar incidents have increased in Barmail and surrounding areas, with civilians falling victim to these events.
