US and Iran to Sign Memorandum of Understanding in Switzerland on June 19

Switzerland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that a memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran is scheduled to be signed on Friday, June 19, in the Burgenstock area of the country. This news was confirmed to the media by Nicolai Bideau, a spokesperson for the ministry.

According to him, the signing ceremony will take place in Burgenstock, one of Switzerland’s well-known venues for hosting international meetings. Switzerland has in recent years hosted diplomatic talks and meetings between countries.

Hours before this announcement, Donald Trump, President of the United States, stated during a meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates that the text of this memorandum would be made public during an official session.

No official details have yet been released regarding the contents of this memorandum or the main points agreed upon by both sides.
