Shahbaz Sharif Announces US-Iran Peace Agreement Including Ceasefire in Lebanon

Shahbaz Sharif has announced the achievement of a peace agreement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, claiming that both sides have agreed to an immediate and permanent halt to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.
According to him, the official signing ceremony of this agreement is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland. He described the agreement as the result of intensive negotiations between the parties.
Sharif expressed gratitude to both the United States and Iran for their commitment to a diplomatic solution and also thanked the mediators involved. He specifically acknowledged the leadership roles of the government of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Republic of Turkey for their participation in the dialogue process.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan further added that with the finalization of this agreement, the mediators will facilitate a series of meetings during the current week. According to him, these pre-implementation meetings will pave the way for technical discussions and the official signing ceremony.
