Afghanistan’s Acting Ambassador Meets Malaysian Defense Official in Kuala Lumpur

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Malaysia has announced that Naqeebullah Ahmadi, the acting head of the embassy in Kuala Lumpur, met with Datuk Mohamad Yani, Deputy Secretary-General of Malaysia’s Ministry of Defense. According to the embassy, the main focus of the meeting was to strengthen bilateral relations and expand technical cooperation and capacity building between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to develop cooperation based on mutual interests. They also emphasized the importance of creating new opportunities for increased interaction between Kabul and Kuala Lumpur.

The Afghan embassy added that expanding bilateral relations could create new opportunities for collaboration across various sectors between the two countries. Malaysia is considered an important country in Southeast Asia and has cooperated with Afghanistan in several areas in recent years.
