US Ambassador to Tel Aviv Takes Shelter Amid Iranian Missile Attacks

Mike Huckabee, the United States Ambassador to Tel Aviv, has announced that he moved to a shelter simultaneous with Iranian missile attacks on Israeli territory. In a post on the social media platform X, he wrote that he heard the sound of ‘massive explosions’ and expressed hope that these sounds were due to missile interceptions.
Huckabee emphasized in his message that he was in the shelter at the time of posting. These remarks come amid rising military tensions between Iran and Israel in recent days and reports of reciprocal attacks.
The US ambassador had previously spent time in a shelter during earlier clashes between the two sides. After a ceasefire was declared at that time, he stated that he had spent six weeks in one room accompanied by his two dogs.
In his latest message, without referring to detailed developments on the ground, Huckabee expressed concern about the current security situation and wrote that he is spending another day ‘under threat.’ So far, Iranian officials have not responded to the recent statements by the US ambassador.
