Sirens Sound in Tel Aviv Following Missile Launch from Iran

Israeli home front officials announced that after missiles were fired from Iranian territory, sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and several southern regions of Israel. According to Israeli sources, residents in parts of central and southern Israel have been directed to shelters.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that following what has been described as a “second wave of missile attacks,” explosions were heard in the Jerusalem area and northern Dead Sea region. Warning sirens were also activated in the cities of Beersheba, Dimona, and parts of the Negev.

According to the same reports, several missiles struck Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem, as well as Beersheba. Some Israeli media outlets reported a missile hit the Itamar area, claiming it struck a sensitive target; no further details have been released.

Hebrew-language sources also stated that the recent attack was carried out jointly by Iran and Yemen. This comes amid rising security alert levels across various parts of Israel following recent tensions and airstrikes early Monday morning.

Israeli media further reported that these attacks caused damage to several areas, including Jericho in the eastern West Bank. So far, no official casualty figures have been released, and the situation is being updated continuously.
