Israel Sends Message to Iran to Halt Attacks as US Mediates Ceasefire Talks

Following recent missile attacks by Iran, Israeli media have reported that Israel, in coordination with the United States, has sent a message to Tehran stating that if Iran stops its missile launches, there will be no further Israeli attacks.
The newspaper Israel Hayom, citing its sources, wrote that Israel’s halt of military operations is conditional on the cessation of Iranian missile attacks. The outlet also described the recent strikes as “crippling missile attacks” by Iran.
At the same time, Axios news site, quoting a US official, reported that Washington has not approved Israel’s strikes against Iran and told Benjamin Netanyahu that these attacks must end.
US President Donald Trump also claimed hours earlier that both sides, Iran and Israel, desire an immediate ceasefire. He said final negotiations regarding “peace” are underway, although obstacles may arise.
Trump emphasized that the blockade will continue until a “final agreement” is reached and added that developments need to progress quickly. He had previously called for the immediate end to the conflict between the two parties.
