Pakistan to Send 200 Special Forces Personnel to Saudi Arabia for Security Training

Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has announced that 200 members of the Federal Police’s Diplomatic Protection Special Unit will be sent to Saudi Arabia for security training courses. According to Pakistani officials, this program aims to enhance the security capabilities of these forces.

This decision was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud in the Mina region. During the meeting, both parties discussed security cooperation and the exchange of experiences between their respective agencies.

According to an official statement from Islamabad, the deployed personnel will receive training in areas including diplomatic protection, countering armed attacks, crisis management, embassy security, and identifying security threats.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have maintained extensive security and military cooperation over the past years, and this new initiative is considered part of their ongoing bilateral relations.
