Russia Reports Repelling Attack by 121 Ukrainian Drones

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that its air defense systems repelled an attack involving 121 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions. According to the ministry, these drones were detected and destroyed over Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, as well as areas related to the Caspian Sea.
The released statement further mentioned that several Ukrainian missiles were also intercepted and destroyed. Russian officials have not provided additional details regarding possible damage or casualties resulting from this incident.
The mentioned regions are located in western and southern Russia and have been targeted by drone attacks several times in recent months. The Caspian Sea area is also considered sensitive due to its strategic importance and geographic position.
This development comes amid ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine despite multiple rounds of negotiations and temporary ceasefires. The continuation of hostilities and the failure of diplomatic efforts to end the war have become significant issues in both the domestic and foreign policies of the United States.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, had previously promised that he would take action to end the war early in his presidency; however, the ongoing battles indicate that achieving a peace agreement continues to face serious challenges.
