Israel Puts Air Force on High Alert as Netanyahu Announces Arrival of New Fighter Jets

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, announced that the country is receiving two new squadrons of F-35 and F-15 fighter jets from the United States, and that its air force is currently on high alert and ready for action. He also claimed that Israeli pilots have the capability to reach Iranian airspace and are prepared to act if necessary.
On Sunday, Netanyahu said in a video message that these advanced fighters would strengthen Israel’s air superiority. According to him, the air force is now at a high level of operational readiness.
The Prime Minister also revealed the launch of a “special project” to counter drone threats. He explained that this program would take time to implement but has already begun.
In another part of his speech, he stated that the Israeli cabinet intends to increase the defense budget by approximately $119 billion over the next decade. The goal of this budget increase, according to him, is to boost domestic ammunition production and reduce reliance on foreign sources.
