2521 Killed Following Ceasefire Violations in Lebanon

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health has reported that since March 2, 2026, concurrent with ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime, 2,521 people have been killed and 7,804 others injured in the country. These figures represent the latest official assessment of casualties from recent attacks across various regions of Lebanon.

According to reports, in the most recent ceasefire violation, Israeli fighter jets targeted the villages of Al-Ghandouria and Zotar Al-Sharqiya in southern Lebanon with airstrikes. Lebanese sources stated that these attacks occurred amid ongoing military tensions in the border areas.

In response to these attacks, Hezbollah announced that it targeted two Merkava tanks and a military bulldozer belonging to Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. The group emphasized that its actions were retaliatory to what it described as “repeated ceasefire violations.”

The escalation of hostilities after the ceasefire declaration has raised concerns about the widening scope of the crisis and an increase in civilian casualties in southern Lebanon. So far, no further details have been released regarding the condition of the victims or potential damage.
