Bus Collision Near Pentagon Injures 23, Including 10 US Defense Department Employees

A collision between two buses near the Pentagon in the United States resulted in 23 injuries, including 10 employees of the US Department of Defense. The incident occurred earlier this morning, with emergency responders transporting some of the injured to local hospitals for further treatment.
According to a statement from the Pentagon Force Protection Agency’s Communications Office, as reported by Fox News, the accident happened at approximately 7:20 a.m. when an M-N-Ride bus collided with a Fairfax Connector bus on the road leading to the metro station.
In total, 23 passengers were injured, 10 of whom are employees of the US Department of Defense. Officials have not released additional details about the condition of the injured.
Emergency teams transferred 18 of the injured to local hospitals for evaluation and further medical care. So far, no reports have been issued regarding the exact cause of the collision or any arrests related to the incident.
