Iran and Pakistan Foreign Ministers Discuss Recent Regional Developments in Phone Call

Iranian and Pakistani foreign ministers held a phone conversation to discuss the latest regional and international developments, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan respectively, exchanged views on issues of mutual interest during the call today.
The discussion took place as the 10-day ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran nears its end. The significance of this call was heightened by Pakistan hosting a meeting between the involved parties, which, according to reports, concluded without any definite outcome.
As neighboring countries with historical and economic ties, Iran and Pakistan have maintained contact and coordination on various political and regional matters in recent years.
