First Afghan Hajj Pilgrimage Group Arrives in Medina

The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Religious Endowments has announced that the first group of Afghan pilgrims has arrived in Medina. According to the ministry, this group departed from Kabul International Airport early this morning.

Based on the information provided, the flight took place at 3:30 a.m., carrying 366 pilgrims from Nangarhar province. This group is the first batch of Afghan pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals.

Every year, thousands of Afghan residents travel to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina to fulfill the Hajj obligation. The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Religious Endowments is responsible for organizing the affairs, processing documentation, and transporting the pilgrims.

So far, no further details have been released regarding the schedule of other flights or the total number of pilgrims this year.
